December's Anatomical Study Kidney's


Located just below the ribs, there are usually two bean shaped organs called kidneys, one on each side of the spine. These small organs are responsible for removing approximately 2 quarts of excess water and waste from the blood each day. Keeping kidneys healthy is important for the proper detoxification of our bodies on a daily basis. Using herbs to support these vital organs may be worth considering.

  1. The kidneys, are effected by overloads from meats, sodium and many other related foods and processes. The build ups create harmful toxins their sources are not always clear. Knowing when enough is enough, is key to this organs sensitive balance. When uric acid builds up within the kidney, it is important to eliminate these waste from within. Improper or insufficient eliminations can create havoc. To identify some, yet not all of the contributing product are as follows ,yet not limited to:
    Excessive meat, alcohol, beer, wine, sodium: salts (your body needs sodium an essential element that must be in balance with green vegetables and fresh fruits) meat tenderizers, MSG, boulion cubes, flavor enhancers, barbecue sauces, salad dressings, soy sauces, teriyaki, oyster sauce, salted snacks, chips, pretzels etc. cured foods, ham, salt pork & fish, sauerkraut, pickles, olives, lux & herring, canned tuna, cold cuts, hot dogs, sausage, canned products, TV dinners,READ LABELS!
